Responsibilities 1. Assist the Operations Manager with client onboarding, account opening, KYC/AML, account maintenance and document filing. 2. Support clearing and settlement, including trade confirmation, settlement instructions, settlement tracking, exception handling and liaison with custodians, clearing houses and counterparties. 3. Assist with valuation and reconciliation, including daily valuation, position reconciliation, cash reconciliation, P&L checking and discrepancy investigation. 4. Help maintain departmental operating procedures, SOPs, manuals and internal control documents. 5. Support trading systems, ledgers, data entry and reporting. 6. Coordinate with trading, risk, compliance, finance and IT teams. 7. Ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements. Requirements 1. Final-year undergraduate or master’s students, or recent graduates, in finance, economics, accounting, business, mathematics, information systems or related disciplines. 2. Relevant internship experience in operations, clearing, settlement, custody, audit or securities middle/back office is preferred. 3. Basic knowledge of fixed income, FX and commodities products is a plus. 4. Proficiency in Excel; VBA, Python or SQL is a plus; Bloomberg/Wind is a plus. 5. Detail-oriented, responsible, able to work under pressure and communicate effectively. 6. Fluent in English and Mandarin; Cantonese is a plus.
