• Scholarships and fees If you’re interested in furthering your career by studying this postgraduate course, find out the admission details below (1) To be considered for admission to this course an applicant must have— (a) a bachelor's degree, or an equivalent qualification, as recognised by UWA; and (b) must have a degree with six units in a discipline that is relevant for the school curriculum major, with at least two of those units studied at second year university level and two at third year university level; and (c) the equivalent of a UWA weighted average mark of at least 60 per cent; and (2) Before admission, international students must obtain a criminal record check from their country of origin or recent residence. The ELC requirement may be satisfied for admission to the UWA Master of Teaching by: At least two years full-time equivalent study at tertiary level in one of the following countries: Australia
• New Zealand
• United Kingdom
• Republic of Ireland
• United States of America
• Canada (except Quebec)

OR

• A valid IELTS Academic overall score of at least 7.5, a minimum score of 7.0 in the Reading and Writing bands, and a minimum score of 8.0 in the Listening and Speaking bands

OR

• A valid Pearson Test of English (PTE) (Academic) overall score of at least 75 and no sub-score less than 70

OR

• A valid Cambridge English: Advanced (CAE) overall grade of B or above, with a score of 'exceptional' for listening and speaking, and at least 'good' for reading and writing
