You'll commence your learning with a range of core Property Development subjects. In these, you'll build familiarity with the key elements of this discipline, such as the development process, transactions, valuation and risk analysis. Then, you'll choose to pursue a sub-major in property valuation or urban planning or opt to broaden your horizons with your choice of options subjects. You'll complete your degree with a group project, where you'll collaborate with others in a group setting to research and plan the development of an urban renewal site.
This program is designed to equip Property Development professionals and those in related fields with the capabilities required to operate at a senior level. You'll get the chance to acquire competencies in investment, planning, valuation, risk analysis and finance, as well as critical skills in communication, collaboration and management.
With a Design and Society degree from UTS, you'll build connections with industry from the moment you start your studies, and learn the skills to respond to social, cultural, environmental and economic challenges.
