This postgraduate course offers you a range of flexible subject selections and can be completed in two years full-time or four years part-time. You'll acquire valuable, pragmatic insight into the realities of professional practice and develop advanced technical skills through project-based studio experiences.
Choosing your own path, you'll select both core Design Studios and electives that align with your areas of interest and career goals. You'll also have the opportunity to access global exposure through study tours, earning academic credit while you travel.
In this course we teach the tools you need to develop, plan and design structures for a variety of clients and purposes. You will also be taught vital research skills and how to apply ethical, environmental, cultural, aesthetic and technological perspectives to your work, designed to equip you with the potential to become a well-rounded, globally-minded professional.
With a Design and Society degree from UTS, you'll build connections with industry from the moment you start your studies, and learn the skills to respond to social, cultural, environmental and economic challenges.
