Our alumni are highly successful journalists who excel at all forms of multi-platform digital storytelling, including TV, radio, podcast, web and social media content.
Minimum 2:1 undergraduate honours degree in any subject.
We may also consider your application if you do not meet the standard academic requirements but you have considerable work experience in a media-related role.
After you submit your application, we will undertake an initial shortlisting process. If you are successful at this stage, we will invite you to an interview with a member of the MA Journalism teaching team, who will assess your suitability for the course. This will involve discussing your passion for journalism and any relevant skills you may already have. It will also give you the opportunity to learn more about the course and ask any questions. Following the interview, offers will be made to suitable candidates.
We assess each application on the basis of the applicant’s preparation and achievement as a whole. We may accept applicants whose qualifications don’t meet the published entry criteria but have other experience relevant to the course.
