Tracking the industrial trends and offering fresh, state-of-the-art courses and labs. of our graduating students had job offers on the day of graduation. The MS in Telecommunications Program is a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) program. is the average annual salary of our graduates for entry-level positions. We offer a wide range of electives in wireless communications, networking and computing. The ECE Department at the University of Maryland is ranked #19 nationally by the US News and World Report. Our students have access to the Hughes Software Defined Radio Laboratory and the Juniper Networking Laboratory , where they gain valuable hands-on experience with wireless and networking equipment. The University of Maryland campus is just a few metro stops awaay from Washington DC. This vibrant region offers students a wealth of opportunities in the local telecom industry and provides rich cultural experiences. Our expert faculty has both academic and industrial experience, bringing the latest technology and industry best practices into the classroom.
