Looking to develop the knowledge and skills required to manage and drive innovation across engineering sectors through projects? This cutting-edge course was designed with you in mind.
This MSc will help you develop the knowledge, skills, and competencies required to manage engineering projects. Through units such as People and Organisations, Project Planning and Control, Project Finance, and a range of other units, you will be able to apply appropriate project management practices to distinctive challenges in engineering projects. In addition, through the programme-specific unit Innovation Management, you will learn how innovation can be managed and supported within an engineering context to create organisational competitive advantage. This includes developing a deep understanding of the internal and external factors that influence decisions around novelty and uncertainty in the pursuit of innovation through projects, with reference to current innovation models and how intellectual property can be protected and exploited in engineering projects.
