• You will benefit from our new Glasgow Experimental Lab (GaEL), allowing the completion of ecologically valid controlled behavioural experiments with dedicated resources and staff.
• Pair theoretical knowledge with quantitative methods, empirical designs, qualitative applications and market-driven research questions to excel in a range of sectors.
• We offer two study tracks (Business and Science) which have a joint foundation path, allowing for a tailored programme to you. Those looking to complement or expand existing scientific knowledge about human behaviour should select our science track. Both pathways give you specialised knowledge to respond to industry/market research questions and requirements in the field of behavioural science.
• Our excellent industry links give you the opportunity to work with real businesses through our consultancy experiences. Consultancy experiences are completed in place of a traditional dissertation, allowing you to implement the skills developed during your taught courses and to apply problem-solving skills to specific real-world tasks.

Choosing the Right Track

Both tracks explore how behavioural science can be used to understand and influence decision-making and behaviour. The right choice of track depends on your interests and career goals.

Science track:

The science track is suited to candidates who are interested in the scientific foundations of human behaviour and who want to develop strong research skills.

You may be a good fit for the science track if you:

• Enjoy psychology, neuroscience of decision-making and research.
• Want to develop expertise in research methods, data analysis and behavioural science
• Are considering a future career in research, policy, academia, consultancy or evidence-based practice.

Business track:

The business track is suited to candidates who want to apply behavioural science to real-world organisational and commercial challenges.

You may be a good fit for the business track if you:

• Are interested in behavioural economics, business, marketing, management, innovation or consumer behaviour.
• Want to learn how behavioural economics and behavioural science can be applied in organisations, public services and commercial settings.
• Are considering a career in consulting, business strategy, policy, marketing, customer experience, product development or organisational change, or want to apply these insights in research.
