If you’re looking for a specialist master’s in geospatial sciences with a focus on Drone-based Digital Twins, Building Information Modelling and surveying, there is no better place to study than UCL.
Bringing together the relevant theory with extensive project-based experience, this Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) accredited course covers the geometric and semantic aspects of BIM, digital twins and the integrated management of geospatial and BIM-related data from terrestrial, marine, space-based, drone and other airborne techniques for spatial data acquisition to the principles of surveying, mapping technologies, 3D reality capture, 3D geometric modelling, and geoinformation science. The course also gives you the required knowledge to pass the UK’s Open A1-A3 drone certificate enabling low-risk drone flights to be conducted.
In addition to excellent teaching and insights into current research and theory, you will gain practical skills and learn specialist software tools like ArcGIS Pro, MicroSurvey STAR*NET, Leica Infinity, PhotoScan, FME, Revit, and PostGIS.
