Rooted in rigorous analysis and critical thinking, LSE's two-year Global Master's in Management (GMiM) goes beyond the "how" of management - uncovering the "why".

In your second year, you can specialise in your area of interest through electives at LSE or explore opportunities for global study through the CEMS MIM or MBA Exchange.

Ranked fifth in the world for social sciences and management (QS World University Rankings by Subject 2026), LSE combines rigorous academic teaching with practical experience and global perspectives.

Programme highlights

• Flexible two-year structure – Explore your interests and tailor parts of your studies through elective courses, with opportunities for an international exchange and internships.
• Real-world business project – Apply your learning to organisational challenges through a group project based on real business issues.
• Global study opportunities – Study at a CEMS partner business school, with access to a network of 33 partner schools, more than 70 corporate partners and eight social partners worldwide. Alternatively, you can explore opportunities to study in the US or Asia through the MBA Exchange. Both routes are subject to the relevant eligibility requirements. You can also remain at LSE and specialise in your area of interest through a range of elective courses.
• Core management foundations – Develop analytical, strategic and decision-making skills through core courses including managerial economics, organisational behaviour and managerial finance.
• Internship opportunity – Use the time between Years 1 and 2 to apply for an internship opportunity to gain professional experience and explore your career interests.

• First or upper second-class bachelor’s degree, or international equivalent, in any discipline.
• Prior formal study of quantitative subjects isn’t required. However, you must come prepared to engage with quantitative topics such as statistics, accounting and finance during the programme.
• Work experience isn’t required. We welcome applicants with a range of professional experience from three months to more than five years. Please detail any relevant experience in your application.
• If you don’t hold a UK undergraduate or graduate degree, you’re required to take the GMAT or GRE. See Additional tests below for more information.
• You’ll need to meet our English language requirements .
