This pre-registration nursing programme offers Bachelor’s degree holders in any discipline the opportunity to simultaneously earn professional credentials as a registered nurse and academic credentials, namely a Master’s degree. The programme prepares students to register as Registered Nurses with the Nursing Council of Hong Kong and to acquire the qualities needed to become future leaders in the profession. Its aims are as follows.
To train students in holistic care that encompasses safe, ethical, legal and culturally sensitive nursing therapeutics provided to clients of all ages and their families in various healthcare settings.
To prepare students to acquire the attributes of future nursing leaders through the assessment and translation of new knowledge to advance nursing practice.
