This course combines project management and cost management skills to provide you with a holistic and streamlined perspective to meet sector and industry needs. You will be taught by academic staff with relevant professional experience in quantity surveying, project management, commercial management, civil engineering and construction procurement.
Explore key aspects at various stages of project delivery, learning from simulation exercises and formative or summative assessments that mimic real-life projects.
Benefit from instruction by staff with wide interests in industry-related research, particularly in subject areas such as modern methods of construction, artificial intelligence (AI), building information modelling (BIM) and off-site manufacturing (staff subject to change).

This course is accredited 1 by The Chartered Institute of Building (CIOB) for intakes up to and including 2029, having been judged to meet the CIOB Education Framework. Graduates of this course will be eligible for full academic exemption when applying for Chartered Membership (MCIOB) without the requirement for an Individual Assessment. To achieve Chartered status, applicants must also demonstrate three to five years of relevant professional experience and meet the CIOB’s membership requirements.
