Responsibilities: Product Strategy and Planning: · Assist the Function Owner in the development and maintenance of long-term strategies and roadmaps for the AI platform, ensuring alignment with the team overall strategic goals. · Track industry trends and competitor landscape to provide research support for product direction. Requirement Gathering and Analysis: · Communicate with customers, partners, and internal teams to assist in gathering and analyzing product requirements. · Participate in writing Product Requirement Documents (PRD / SPEC / User Story) ensuring clear, feasible, and prioritized requirements. Product Development and Management: · Assist in coordinating cross-functional teams (development, design, research) to ensure on-time and quality delivery. · Assist in managing the product lifecycle from concept to launch and ongoing improvements. · Work as a member of agile teams to support sprint planning, daily standups, reviews, and retrospectives. AI Feature Application and Validation: · Participate in product validation and effectiveness evaluation of AI features (AI Agents, intelligent assistants, etc.), tracking user feedback. · Assist in testing Large Language Model (LLM) applications, including Prompt Engineering experiments and model evaluation. · Participate in design discussions and requirement validation for Knowledge Base related features. Customer Contact and Feedback: · Assist in summarizing and analyzing customer needs and requirements, working together with Front Office (FO), UIUX designers and Architects to support solution design (including product design documents, user stories, and specifications). · Assist in preparing and presenting overall solution designs to customers. · Assist in clarifying issues with customers during the entire project phase. Project Collaboration and Management: · Work together with project leads and R&D for constant maintenance of offering concepts and roadmaps for the responsible domain. · Support multiple diverse projects in parallel. Team Collaboration: · Work closely with UIUX Designers, AI Research Team, and the Development team. · Support coordination and communication across multiple parallel projects. Data Analysis and Product Operations: · Collect and analyze platform usage data to support data-driven product decisions. · Assist in writing product weekly/monthly reports. · Track user feedback and assist in organizing Feature Requests and Bug Reports. Requirements: Educational Background: · Currently enrolled undergraduate or graduate student in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, Vehicle Engineering, Information Management and Information Systems, Business Administration (IT direction), or related fields. Technical Skills: · Understanding of AI/ML concepts and LLM (Large Language Model) applications. · Basic understanding of AI Agents, Knowledge Base, or RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) technologies. · Familiarity with cloud computing concepts; experience with Aliyun, AWS, or Azure is a plus. · Proficiency with Git, JIRA/Confluence, and common productivity tools. · Basic data analysis skills, able to use Excel/Python for data processing. · Excellent documentation skills, able to clearly express product requirements and technical solutions. Soft Skills: · Strong user orientation and empathy, able to think from the engineer perspective. · Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, able to efficiently collaborate with development, design, and research teams. · Fast learning ability with keen interest and passion for AI technology development. · Strong sense of responsibility, able to manage multiple tasks in parallel. · Team player with a willingness to share and help others. Preferred Qualifications: · Internship or project experience related to AI Agents, Knowledge Base, or LLM applications. · Experience with AI products (ChatBot, AI assistant, knowledge base platform, etc.). · Understanding of automotive software development processes or whole vehicle R&D quality management. · Previous product management internship or experience in a full product lifecycle. · Fluency in English (CARIAD is an international team; daily communication is bilingual in Chinese and English). Internship Period The expected on-board time is as soon as possible. The internship duration is a minimum of 3 months with at least 4 working days per week. A longer commitment (6+ months) is preferred.
