About the Role As a Junior VSOC Analyst, you will be the first line of defense for our connected vehicle fleet. You will monitor security events across vehicles, back-end platforms, and mobile/telematics services, triage potential threats, and support incident response in alignment with industry standards such as ISO/SAE 21434 and UNECE R155. This is an excellent entry point into automotive cybersecurity, offering structured growth toward senior analyst and security engineering roles. Key Responsibilities • Monitor security events and alerts from connected vehicles and cloud/back-end infrastructure via SIEM and fleet security monitoring platforms • Perform first-level triage and analysis of alerts, filter false positives, and escalate confirmed or suspicious incidents to senior analysts / PSIRT per defined procedures • Support security incident handling: documentation, evidence collection, timeline tracking, and post-incident reports • Track emerging automotive threats and vulnerabilities from public sources and intelligence feeds; assist in vulnerability assessment and coordination • Maintain and improve SOC runbooks, playbooks, and alert rules; contribute to dashboard and detection tuning • Support UNECE R155-related workflows (e.g., incident and vulnerability reporting documentation) under supervision • Produce clear shift handover and daily status reports; follow shift rotation to ensure coverage • Stay up to date with automotive E/E architecture concepts (ECU, CAN bus, telematics) and evolving attacker techniques Education • Bachelor's degree or above in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, • Electronic/Automotive Engineering, or a related field Experience • 0–2 years of experience in security operations, SOC, network security or automotive industry; fresh graduates with relevant internships are welcome Skills & Knowledge • Basic understanding of SOC operations and SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, Microsoft Sentinel, QRadar, or ELK) • Familiarity with networking fundamentals (TCP/IP), common attack techniques, and frameworks such as MITRE ATT&CK • Basic log analysis and scripting skills (e.g., Python) are a plus • Knowledge of automotive systems (CAN/FlexRay bus, ECU, OBD, telematics/V2X) or prior automotive experience is a strong plus • Good analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills; ability to work in a rotating-shift environment • Professional working proficiency in English (reading and writing) is preferred
