Brief description of the position: We are looking for a motivated intern to join High Voltage Safety team. You will bridge the gap between engineering and artificial intelligence. Primary objective is to develop an AI-powered tool that automates the generation of test schedules based on project milestones and tracks their execution status. This is a unique opportunity to apply data science to real-world automotive engineering. Range of Responsibility: Test Planning: Collaborate with HV safety engineers to understand high voltage test specifications and project node requirements. AI Tool Development: Design and prototype an intelligent scheduling tool (using LLMs or optimization algorithms) that automatically generates test plans based on resource availability and project timelines. Progress Tracking: Implement features to track test execution status and visualize data for the engineering team. Optimization: Continuously refine the AI model to improve schedule accuracy and handle dynamic changes in project scope. Daily Assistance: Support colleagues with daily administrative tasks, meeting coordination, and documentation management. Lab Management: Assist in maintaining laboratory order, ensuring safety compliance, and managing office supplies and testing equipment inventory. Resource Coordination: Help coordinate the usage of lab facilities and equipment among team members. Qualification and skills required for the position: Education: Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. Working experience: Not requested Knowledge, skills and others: Technical Skills: Proficiency in Python (essential for scripting and AI integration). Familiarity with AI/ML frameworks or experience with LLM API integration. Soft Skills: Strong organizational skills and attention to detail (crucial for lab management). Ability to communicate effectively across technical and non-technical domains. Proactive attitude and willingness to assist with general team support tasks. Fluency in English (written and spoken).
