We are seeking a motivated engineering intern with an interest in AI (Artificial Intelligence) to support the team in developing assistance to support our work. This role offers hands-on experience in our daily work and a chance to see how AI can help our daily tasks. You will work closely with experienced engineers on real projects. Primary Responsibilities: • Build basic AI assistant tools (using AI coding tool like Cline, VS CODE and simple AI models) to support team for their daily tasks, which include but not limited to Safety, Reliability, Component Management, Configuration Management, Process Assurance and Certification related tasks. • Work with teams to understand their work, then how AI can help performing these tasks. • Join team activities, learn new skills, and build good relationships with colleagues. Qualifications Required: • Degree: Bachelor/Master candidates • Major: Computer Science, Electronics or Electrical Engineering, or other related Engineering and Science fields from an accredited institution • Proficiency with MS Office Tools (Words, Excel) • Interest and curiosity in AI • Good with algorithmic thinking or logical problem solving (you don’t need to write code from scratch, we use AI assistants that write code for you) • Interest in Safety and Risk Management Methodology • Interest in Component Management and Configuration Management Methodology • Good communication skills and willingness to collaborate and learn • Good organizational skills • Good critical thinking and problem-solving skills • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English Desired Characteristics: • Basic knowledge of Safety Engineering methods (e.g., FMEA) • Basic knowledge of FAA/EASA/CAAC aircraft, systems or hardware certification processes (TC, STC, PMA, TSO, etc.) • Basic Knowledge of AS9100 or equivalent • Some experience using AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, Cline, etc.) to solve problems • Ability to interface effectively with all levels of the organization
