The thesis-based M.S. program requires 30 credit hours, including 24 course-credit hours (of which 15 are for required courses ) and up to 6 thesis hours. Students must select 9 credit hours of elective course work from either the following list of ISE courses , or courses by the other departments , or any relevant graduate courses offered by the university subject to the approval of the student’s committee .
