You can also continue your studies at UTS with Practical Legal Training (PLT), allowing you to register as a professional lawyer in the state of NSW. Flexible learning means you can complete your studies in the way that suits you. This degree can be completed by day or evening, in a part-time or full-time capacity, with a choice of face-to-face and online classes. Within this degree, you’ll complete core JD and MBA subjects, developing essential capabilities in areas like leadership, strategic management, Australian law and justice.
Having established a solid foundation, you’ll then specialise your legal knowledge through your choice of Options and Legal Theory subjects. The Business Law stream will then allow you to complete a sub-major and enhance your learning in areas like commercial law, dispute resolution and negotiation.
