The Master of Education (Special and Inclusive Education) is a postgraduate coursework degree that will develop the skills, knowledge and values needed to be recognised as a specialist teacher to work with students with disability.
You will complete core units covering how to work with students with disability, how to support behaviour and design learning environments that support learners with a diversity of backgrounds, along with a capstone experience comprising a semester-long special project or a year-long dissertation.
Additionally, you will complete stream selectives as needed to meet the requirements of the course, and recognition as a specialist teacher of students with disability.
The Special and Inclusive Education stream is recognised by the NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA).
