On our LLM Masters degree, you'll have the flexibility and choice to construct your own programme of law studies drawn from the full range of courses on offer. If you wish, you will have the opportunity to specialise in one of three fields: Alternative Dispute Resolution, Human Rights Law, or International Environmental Law. You'll also benefit from the opportunity to enjoy masterclasses from guest speakers/lecturers.
Because of the general nature of the course, there will be no requirement for designated core modules. If you choose three classes in the field of Alternative Dispute Resolution, Human Rights Law, or International Environmental Law, you will have the opportunity to graduate with a specialisation in your chosen field.
To graduate with a specialisation in Alternative Dispute Resolution, Human Rights Law or International Environmental Law, students will need to select three 20-credit taught modules in their chosen field of specialisation and work on a topic within this field for their 60-credit research-based module.
The LLM is taught through a combination of lectures and teaching seminars.
Assessment will be through a mix of exams and assessments that may be written or practical, depending on the subject.
