Triple Crown accredited Sheffield University Management School is accredited by AMBA, EQUIS and AACSB. No prior experience needed This is a conversion course open to students with limited existing skills and knowledge of Business Analytics. You’ll build strong foundations in semester one to enable non-specialists to progress to more advanced material in semester two. We take beginners and turn them into experts. Project based internships You will have the opportunity to take part in a micro-internship for 5 weeks in the summer semester. Working in a group, you’ll respond to a client brief from an external organisation to gain valuable, real-world experience. You’ll be supported by employability experts and receive tailored training as part of a safe, scaffolded introduction to professional practice. Gain information and technology experience You will become confident with professional analytical tools such as Python, R, SQL, Excel, Qlik and Gurobi. You will also be exposed to AI learning platforms, enabling you to integrate, manage, and analyse data across diverse business contexts. Develop and apply analytical skills This course focuses on three core areas, IT, analytical and behavioural skills. You will apply these to real-world case studies such as marketing, finance and healthcare. Our course also has an emphasis on consultancy-style communication, report writing, and teamwork - skills that employers often find lacking in technically strong candidates.
Minimum 2:1 undergraduate honours degree in any subject.
