Our program is for graduates seeking to advance their leadership and management skills using insights from psychological science. Our Program is designed to meet the needs of graduates from a wide range of backgrounds (not limited to psychology qualifications). This program will:

You will develop an advanced understanding of human psychology and behaviour. You will learn how this can be applied to develop and sustain high quality workplace relationships. You will learn specialised skills in applied psychology and organisational behaviour in the workplace, such as psychological assessment and interviewing. You will gain novel insights from the psychology of groups and teams to help transform organisations to make them more inclusive, innovative and resilient.

A Graduate Certificate in Business Psychology is also available to study and can be used as a pathway into the masters program.

We offer a specialised program that advances your understanding and approach to creating effective workplaces and leadership in organisations. It will enhance your ability to think from a business psychology perspective.

You will develop an understanding of business psychology. You will learn specialised theoretical frameworks, engage with leading scientific research evidence, and develop advanced business skills. You will learn how this knowledge can be applied in people management to enhance business outcomes. These skills are transferable to all areas of business and human resources.

There are opportunities to exit the Master program with a Graduate Certificate. This depends on the number of units completed.

There are two bridging courses for students without a psychology background (non-cognate) and six core courses. The remainder of subjects are directed courses primarily from the Psychological Sciences discipline and Newcastle Business School.
