Develop the strategic, analytical and practical skills to lead digital transformation and create value in an increasingly digital economy. This MSc is designed for students who want to understand how organisations respond to digital disruption, adopt emerging technologies and manage change in complex business environments. You will gain a comprehensive grounding in digital strategy, core and emerging digital technologies, change management and leadership in the digital age, digital operations and supply chains. Through experiential learning and real-world scenarios, you will build the ability to analyse digital transformation challenges, apply technology-focused thinking and develop practical solutions for organisational contexts. A distinctive feature of the course is the year-long consultancy project, which replaces the traditional dissertation. Working in teams, you will apply your learning to real-world consultancy challenges and develop solutions to complex case studies, helping you build collaborative, analytical and problem-solving skills that reflect the demands of digital transformation work. You can also choose a financial technology pathway, developing expertise in the digital transformation of the financial services industry. Studying at Alliance Manchester Business School places you within one of the UK’s largest campus-based business and management schools, part of The University of Manchester, in a city where students can engage with a broad business, technology and innovation environment.
