The MSc Finance provides a firm foundation in Finance, Financial Economics and Empirical Finance and features in the Financial Times Masters in Finance 2026 Ranking, one of the most widely recognised international benchmarks for finance education.

Professional Training and Certification
The MSc Finance has received recognition by the CFA Institute for its Affiliation Program, which is a global association of investment professionals that offers the Chartered Financial Analyst® (CFA®) designation. Affiliated status is granted to institutions whose degree programmes incorporate at least 70% of the CFA Program Candidate Body of Knowledge (CBOK).
You will have access to CFA Level I preparation support and a three-day preparation workshop. The CFA qualification is widely regarded as one of the most respected global credentials in investment management.
Trading Bootcamp and Bloomberg You will gain access to AmplifyME Pathways, a leading experiential learning platform that allows students to develop real-world skills through access to structured pathways to live, interactive simulations across global markets, investment banking and quantitative finance. Furthermore, our Bloomberg suite will allow you to become familiar with the Bloomberg Terminal and achieve a Bloomberg Market Concepts (BMC) certification which is widely recognised in the finance industry.
Financial Platforms and Databases You will also have access to platforms such as LSEG Workspace and Datastream, WRDS, CRSP, Compustat, FactSet, and ESG databases including MSCI One and S&P Trucost. Software training includes EViews, Stata, Matlab and Python.
