Are you inspired by the potential of a career in cyber security? Our MSc conversion course enables you to translate your current skills from another discipline, and find a role in a fast-moving and dynamic field.
Cyber security is integral to our ability to function in our modern, connected world. In this course, you’ll develop your abilities and knowledge in computing, programming and systems security, and learn more about the challenges facing organisations who wish to protect vital data.
Kent is recognised as an Academic Centre of Excellence in cyber security research by the UK Government. You’ll learn from lecturers and researchers who have decades of experience in the subject, many of whom are actively working on cutting-edge research with industry partners. A first or second class honours degree or equivalent in any subject. You should also have mathematical skills equivalent to a grade C or above in GCSE Mathematics.
Please see our International Student website for entry requirements by country and other relevant information. Due to visa restrictions, students who require a student visa to study cannot study part-time unless undertaking a distance or blended learning programme with no on-campus provision.
This course requires a Good level of English language, equivalent to B2 on CEFR.
