Our MSc Physiotherapy course is fully approved by the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and accredited by the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy. At our prestigious School of Health Sciences, you’ll engage with innovative teaching methods, including case studies and workshops. You'll master the skills needed to identify issues and learn how to make effective decisions tailored to individual client needs.
Our two-year (45-week) programme adopts a Case Based Learning (CBL) ethos. This means there’s a focus on student-centred independent learning, problem solving and decision-making, supported by both online and in person teaching from lecturers and guest speakers with relevant expertise.
Practice placements are integrated throughout the programme, enabling you to undertake a supervised placement with a range of different healthcare settings including but not limited to the East Anglia region. You’ll complete a minimum of 1000 hours assessed during the programme.
Year two continues with the CBL approach as well as a range of workshops, seminars and self-directed study. You'll complete further placements in a variety of settings with the opportunity to arrange the final eight-week placement. in the UK or overseas, subject to approval. You'll be responsible for covering any additional travel and accommodation costs you incur. You’ll also begin preparing for the transition into the workplace.
