In the programme, you combine health, data, and the latest technology to develop digital healthcare solutions and shape the future healthcare system. You'll learn to create user-friendly, ethical, and sustainable digital solutions for healthcare professionals and patients. As an IT architect in health information, you’ll have various job opportunities in both the public and private sectors as a project manager, consultant, or entrepreneur.

The programme's key feature is its interdisciplinarity. You'll gain expertise in both health sciences and digitalisation, allowing you to connect doctors, IT developers, and citizens when creating digital healthcare solutions. You'll build a strong foundation in health sciences while sharpening your focus on digital innovation and the interaction between technology and user behaviour.
You might work on developing new digital solutions in the tech industry, the medical industry, the public sector, or in your own company. You could also optimise processes and workflows in businesses or hospitals. With a degree in Health Informatics, you are in demand abroad as well, meaning your future workplace could be in Herning or Hong Kong.
