It is expected that the last opportunity to apply for the MSc in Food Innovation and Health will be for study start in September 2027. From September 2028, a new one-year focused master’s programme is expected to be offered. We will update this page when more information about the new programme becomes available. 🎯 入学要求

To apply for admission to the master's programme, you must be enrolled in or have completed either a qualifying bachelor's programme or another relevant Danish or foreign degree programme which the admission board assess fulfil the academic requirements.

You apply for admission through the application portal.

You must meet a number of admission requirements, to apply for the master’s programme. We do not offer pre-assessment of your educational background.

You have legal right of admission, if you hold a bachelor’s degree in:

• Food Science (fødevarer og ernæring) with the Food, Health and Nutrition subject-specific course package (sundhed og ernæring) from the University of Copenhagen

As an applicant with legal right of admission, you are guaranteed a place if you apply by the deadline. You can wait up to three years to exercise your legal right of admission from the time you complete your bachelor’s degree until you start your master’s degree.

If you have completed one of the following bachelor’s degrees and meet the language requirements – English B – you automatically fulfil all the academic admission requirements.

From the University of Copenhagen:

• Food Science (fødevarer og ernæring) with the Food, Health and Nutrition subject-specific course package (sundhed og ernæring) (you have legal right of admission for the first 3 years)

If you hold a bachelor’s degree, a professional bachelor’s degree or an equivalent qualification from a Danish or international university not listed above, you are eligible for admission if the programme includes the following:

• A minimum of 120 ECTS within the area of natural science including all the following: Biochemistry (including laboratory work) equivalent in content to the SCIENCE course LKEB10077U Biokemi 1 7.5 ECTS
• Statistics equivalent in content to the SCIENCE course LMAB10069U Statistisk dataanalyse 1 7.5 ECTS

You must also meet the language requirements for English B.
