📖 项目简介
You will gain knowledge and understanding of current research in computational linguistics and are prepared for independent research. You focus on the core areas of linguistics: phonetics/phonology, syntax, and semantics/pragmatics alongside a range of optional modules suited to their personal interests. On completion of the course, you will be able to formulate appropriate research questions, find and evaluate relevant literature, develop and test new hypotheses, and produce cogent, structured and professionally presented reports.
Students will use symbolic models, deep learning models, or crowdsourcing-based data collection and experimental methods, and will receive extensive training in research methods and the scholarly presentation of ideas.
The course is designed for students with a background either in linguistics, cognitive science or computer science who wish to pursue an interest in computational linguistics.
