This two-year Dietetics MSc will set you up with the knowledge, skills, and competencies to apply for full registration as a dietitian with the Health and Care Professions Council HCPC.

You will gain expertise in nutritional assessment, diagnosis and management, delivering evidence-based care across clinical and community settings. Practical experience in NHS equips you to provide patient-centred care in hospitals, outpatient clinics, public health and non-clinical settings.
Alongside clinical competencies, you will develop communication, written and presentation skills, enabling you to translate scientific information for different audiences. Training in research methods, critical appraisal, leadership and project management prepares you to contribute to service development and innovation.
Dietitians work across hospitals, community services, sports nutrition and private practice. Graduates are also prepared for careers in research, academia, public health, industry, media and policy. Professional events support networking and employability.
The MSc course is well suited to professionals who want to pursue a career in dietetics. On graduation, you will be eligible to apply for registration in dietetics with the Health and Care Professions Council HCPC and practise as a registered dietitian in the UK.
