📖 项目简介
The world needs skilled chemical and process engineers to develop new materials, design safe and sustainable processes for producing our food, clean water, medicines, transport and energy resources. This Master’s course provides the advanced training and practical skills you need to progress into highly skilled jobs within process engineering and related sectors.
Working closely with engineers and scientists from different backgrounds, both within UCL and through external collaboration, you will learn to apply core engineering principles in diverse and real-world contexts. From developing creative and innovative solutions to process design problems to analysing, interpreting and designing experiments to obtain new data, you’ll graduate with a comprehensive suite of desirable technical skills. What’s more, your research project provides the opportunity to develop your problem-solving and decision-making skills.
This option enables students to undertake a placement with a professional organisation that is relevant to their course, gaining valuable real-world experience and applying academic knowledge in practice. This study option provides the opportunity for students to undertake an industry placement that is at least 1,200 hours (nine months) in length, forming the second half of a two-year course comprised of one academic year, followed by the industrial placement in the second year.
