Master of Science (Sports Science) Research mode aims to produce graduates who are competent, skilled, ethical and pr of essional in order to strengthen and to introduce the field of sports science to meet the needs of the country of skilled manpower in this field.

  • To provide opportunities for graduates from a variety of related fields to pursue the Master of Science (Sports Science)degree level.

At the end of the programme we hope that the students are capable to conduct research in critical and creative current problem solving. The research also studies apply communication skills, working in the group and be able to show the ethical and pr of essional. Furthermore, lifelong learning can be applied to improve services in the field of study chosen in order to practice the skills of management and entrepreneurship in line with the leadership skills in the field of study.

Applicants should possess the following:

A. Bachelor's degree in related area

1. CGPA of at least 3.00 / 4.00; or

2. CGPA between 2.75 - 2.99 with the following additional conditions:

  • Research experience (minimum 6 month); or
  • Grade A- for final year project; AND
  • Subject to additional requirement(s) by the School
  • (Applicable for International Applicants Only) The minimum score for each programme can be vary from the below list, candidates are required to check for each programme requirements. A minimum score of 40 for TOEFL (Internet-based); or
  • A minimum of Band 7.5 for TOEFL Essentials (Online); or
  • A minimum of Band 5 for IELTS; or
  • A minimum score of 47 for PTE; or
  • A minimum score of 154 for Cambridge English (CAE/CPE); or
  • A minimum score of 154 for Linguaskill Online; or
  • A minimum of Band 3.5 for MUET

Exemption is given to candidate if:

  • English is the candidate’s mother tongue or National Language; or
  • Candidate graduated from an Institution of Higher Learning in which the medium of instruction at Bachelor and/or Master degree level is English (statement of pro of required)
