The Master’s program offers comprehensive training in philosophy. While students choose from one of six academic tracks in the first year of the program, each track includes courses drawn from the other tracks, so that every student receives broad-based training. In the second year, students focus more intensively on their concentration, choosing a topic and a director for their thesis.
Academic tracks
Students can choose from among six academic tracks in Year 1 of the Master’s program (M1) and six tracks in Year 2 (M2). Each track is managed by a specific school (ENS-PSL, EPHE-PSL or EHESS), but all of the instructors participating in each track come from the various partner schools.
