The programme equips graduates with comprehensive expertise in aerospace engineering, preparing them to understand, design, and analyse flight systems. Students develop competencies across a broad range of aerospace applications, including fixed-wing and rotary-wing aircraft, spacecraft, and satellites. A wide selection of elective modules allows students to tailor their studies and deepen their knowledge in areas such as lightweight structures, flight dynamics and control, aerodynamics and propulsion. This specialisation within the Master’s programme in Aerospace Engineering focuses on how aircraft and other air- and space-vehicles move and how they are controlled. It integrates principles from physics, system dynamics and control theory to analyse and influence the motion of flying systems. Students develop the ability to evaluate the forces and moments acting on a vehicle, describe its equations of motion, and assess both static and dynamic stability. Modules : Introduction to Flight Mechanics, Flight Control Systems, Advanced Flight Control Systems, Safety & Certification of Avionics & Flight Control Systems, MATLAB Aerolab This specialisation addresses the analysis, sizing and conceptual design of load-carrying aerospace structures. Students examine how aerodynamic, inertial and operational loads influence aircraft components such as wings, fuselages and control surfaces, and how these structures are engineered to ensure safety, efficiency and optimal performance.
