The Master of Science in Safety, Health and Environmental Technology (SHE) is an interdisciplinary programme emphasises the combination of theoretical knowledge, application of Safety, Health and Environment concepts, and strategic thinking. This programme is designed to equip students with the essential postgraduate-level knowledge and skill progression to: With this specialised competence, the programme develops graduates to be Future-Ready SHE Leaders, Advanced Practitioners, and Professionals in SHE Management. The curriculum is taught by established Industry Practitioners, Professional Engineers, Specialist SHE researchers, Senior Management of Companies, and Regulatory Representatives. This provides different perspectives and opens up many future-oriented possibilities for graduates in the following professional industries and sectors: In 2021, the Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering Department raised funds through MSc SHE Alumni, family, friends, and colleagues of A/P Foo Swee Cheng. As of 22 March 2022, $21,230 was raised. The expendable sum will be used to establish an award to encourage and recognize our postgraduate students in the Master of Science in Safety, Health and Environmental Technology (MSc SHE) degree programme who have displayed excellence in academics.
