Our Master of Advanced Finance will give you insights into the industry – and provides you with the opportunity to explore areas as diverse as fintech, environmental finance and big data. This degree will also give you the opportunity to gain specialist knowledge in the following areas:

Monash University is part of the CFA Institute University Affiliation Program and the Master of Advanced Finance is recognised by the CFA Institute, the global association for investment professionals that awards the Chartered Financial Analyst® (CFA) designation. This means the program covers a minimum of 70 percent of all three topic levels of the CFA Program Candidate Body of Knowledge, thus assisting students in preparing for the CFA exams.

Additionally, our Master of Advanced Finance is an academic partner to the Global Association of Risk Professionals (GARP) which administers the prestigious Financial Risk Manager (FRM) certification.
