General requirements for university studies in Sweden as well as a Bachelor in Music 180 credits or equivalent and successful entrance tests to the Master’s Programme in Music. Exceptions can be made from the basic eligibility requirement of proficiency in Swedish for international students.
This programme is aimed at pianists with a high artistic level who want to prepare for a professional career in opera and music theatre. The programme runs for two years and is offered by Malmö Academy of Music in close collaboration with Malmö Opera.
The programme combines subject-specific studies with extensive practical experience at Malmö Opera. You will work with music drama repertoire and develop the knowledge and skills required to work as a répétiteur in music drama productions.
