Our MSc in Engineering Management prepares you for a range of rewarding careers in the management of engineering projects. The industry-facing nature of the programme will suit those who wish to complement their technical knowledge with business expertise.
The programme delivers a core base of modules to equip you with an understanding of innovation and entrepreneurship; industrial digital technologies; principles of project management; project finance and sustainable product design. These modules have been developed in collaboration with industry to ensure that you learn skills that are highly sought-after by today’s employers.
During the programme you will learn research and analytical skills to assist in the understanding of complex business problems. In addition, you will gain insight into the methodologies for problem-solving and informed decision-making.
The MSc programme is structured into modules comprising 4 week blocks. You will generally engage in all learning and teaching on campus during one full week (Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm) during the block. Afterward, full-time students will submit all assessments by the end of the block. Part-time students will have slightly longer to complete assessments.

You should have a Bachelor’s honours degree, typically a 2:2 or above. Ideally, you should have an undergraduate degree in an engineering or physical science.
We also welcome applications from mature students and recognise all other equivalent and international qualifications. Applicants with academic qualifications that do not meet the standard entry criteria may be considered if they have significant relevant work experience.
