Explore the complexities of financial theory and gain real-world trading experience on this specialist CFA-affiliated master's in Finance and Global Trading, taught by Loughborough Business School’s expert academics and industry practitioners.
Many roles across finance require a deep understanding of how financial markets operate. On this degree, you will build a solid foundation in the fundamentals of the subject including core finance theory, valuation and sustainable finance. You will gain first-hand experience of trading across multiple asset classes and products using industry-standard trading software (such as the London Stock Exchange Group Workspace) and live prices.
This programme makes practical, real-world applicable knowledge an integral part of your learning experience. As part of the programme, you will engage in an immersive Global Financial Trading module which takes place during the summer semester. You’ll have the chance to develop in-demand professional skills and gain a VTCT (Vocational Training Charitable Trust) Level 7 Diploma in Applied Financial Trading.

Our entry requirements are listed using standard UK undergraduate degree classifications i.e. first-class honours, upper second-class honours and lower second-class honours. To learn the equivalent for your country, please choose it from the drop-down below.
A 2:2 honours degree with a minimum of 55% or equivalent international qualification. It is helpful, but not essential, to have studied a subject with a quantitative element such as business, accounting, economics, mathematics, physics, engineering, chemistry, geography, computer science or data analytics. We will consider applicants who have taken subjects that do not have a quantitative element but ask them to do some pre-course reading before the start of the programme. No prior finance study is required. Applicants with relevant professional experience or professional qualifications would be welcomed.
