You should have (or expect to be awarded) an undergraduate degree, or relevant experience working in an educational context.
You should have (or expect to be awarded) an undergraduate degree in a relevant/related subject. Alternatively, you will have completed appropriate voluntary or professional experience in education or community work.
If you are looking to move into the education field, other qualifications of equivalent level will be considered if you can demonstrate academic strength and relevant professional experience.

This strand is designed for educators working in multilingual and language learning contexts, including modern languages, heritage language education, English as an Additional Language and international education. You will explore how languages are taught, learned and valued within different educational settings, and how language education intersects with identity, culture and power. Drawing on research in language education and pedagogy, the strand supports the development of inclusive and reflective approaches to language teaching.
