Emory University School of Law offers a practical, disciplined approach to the study of law that engages students in the roles the law plays in our community, society, and world. Emory Law's LLM can be completed full-time in nine months or part-time in up to four years. The program can be customized to meet a student's specific interests through one of the seven available concentrations. The LLM program is open to individuals holding a foreign law degree and/or a US JD degree from an ABA-accredited law school. Emory Law's LLM program offers graduates of US and foreign law schools the opportunity to pursue the master of laws degree from one of the top nationally ranked law schools in the United States. The flexible LLM program allows you to customize coursework to fit your professional goals. You will join students from Emory Law's JD and graduate programs in foundational and elective courses you choose based on your individual areas of interest and expertise. Emory Law’s academic rigor combined with volunteer opportunities to gain practical legal skills affords both foreign- and US-trained lawyers an unparalleled LLM experience. For the fall semester, the general deadline is June 1. For the spring semester, the general deadline is November 1.
