The MA in International Cultural Heritage Management focuses on key issues of cultural heritage management around the world and how it is shaped by, and impacts society, from international frameworks and government policies through to local communities.
Through research-led teaching, practical portfolios and your own dedicated research, you will have the opportunity to understand how cultural heritage management and sympathetic cultural protection methodologies can contribute towards sustainable communities, drive economic growth, contribute to good health and wellbeing, provide quality education and help maintain peace and justice and strong institutions through intercultural dialogue.
Central to this is exploring how cultural heritage is an essential tool in helping to meet the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals.
There are two routes through the MA: the Cultural Heritage Research route, which concludes with a dissertation, and the Professional Practice Route, which concludes with an analytical case study report.
