Dartmouth's MS in engineering sciences is designed for research and technical depth. Dartmouth also offers two other distinct master's degrees: the Master of Engineering (MEng)—designed for advanced technical practice without a thesis—and the Master of Engineering Management (MEM)—designed for engineering leadership paired with business skills. Each engineering master's program is designed for a different kind of career trajectory, so you can find the degree that matches where you want to go next.
As an MS candidate, you are required to hold a bachelor's-level degree in engineering or in one of the physical sciences from an accredited institution. If you are admitted and require additional engineering coursework, you may be required to complete additional undergraduate engineering courses prior to beginning your MS studies.
