📖 项目简介

The course emphasises the four pillars of both physiotherapy and the NHS practice, working with acute patients, those managing long-term conditions and supporting preventative health. It aims to enhance your prior learning, preparing you for work in the UK and abroad.

• As a qualified physiotherapist, you will have the opportunity to apply your previous learning and experience to expand your skill set and develop leadership skills and an entrepreneurial mindset.
• Expands your clinical reasoning, problem-solving and decision-making skills and evidence-informed practice, through research-inspired teaching and the use of industry-standard facilities, such as simulation.
• Empower yourself with a deeper understanding of health and care practices and the scope of practice for physiotherapists in the UK.

This course offers qualified physiotherapists the opportunity to engage in postgraduate studies, either following completion of an undergraduate programme, or after having gained professional work experience.

• Learn from experts and specialists in physiotherapy practice.
• Benefit from an inclusive and supportive environment.
• Develop your entrepreneurial mindset in the context of physiotherapy practice.
• Get further learning support that can cover writing critically, effective literature searching and guest speakers (subject to availability). This is offered as a timetabled session in addition to the timetabled teaching sessions.

The module Leadership and Entrepreneurship meets the criteria set by the Chartered Management Institute (CMI) for the CMI Level 7 Certificate in Strategic Management and Leadership Practice. Students who successfully pass this module will be eligible to gain the award as an additional qualification at no additional cost.

An honours degree 2:2 or above (or international equivalent) in physiotherapy.

If your background is in another discipline outside of physiotherapy, this course is not suitable. You may instead wish to consider our Physiotherapy and Leadership (pre-registration) MSc , which is designed for applicants without a physiotherapy qualification.

IELTS: 7.0 overall, with no component lower than 6.5.

If you don't meet the English language requirements, you can achieve the level you need by successfully completing a pre-sessional English programme before you start your course.
