Extend your biotechnological skills and understanding with the option to specialise in one of three key areas: industrial and environmental biotechnology, molecular biology, or vaccinology and immunotherapy.

• Participate in a laboratory-led 4 and interactive learning environment to comprehensively understand the latest advancements in biotechnology.
• Design, conduct and present an original, hypothesis-driven research project in biotechnology or your chosen specialist field.
• The course integrates two International Certificate of Digital Literacy (ICDL) modules, Data Analytics and Big Data. You will be awarded an ICDL certificate and electronic badge on successful completion of each ICDL module.
• Specialised and focused: we offer you a professional and friendly environment to learn the latest biotechnological skills and further develop knowledge and understanding in one of three specialist areas: industrial and environmental biotechnology, molecular biology, or vaccinology and immunotherapy.
• Designed to offer hands-on experience: laboratory sessions 4 offer practical training in key techniques within a specialist field alongside skills relevant to all disciplines including biochemistry and metabolism, genomics, bioinformatics, computational biology and data analytics.
• Comprehensive skills development opportunities: through workshops, seminars and interactive sessions, develop critical research abilities, scientific communication expertise and the confidence to present complex ideas effectively.
• Research-informed learning: critically engage with primary literature and current research and enhance your ability to evaluate and apply scientific findings in real-world contexts.

• IELTS: 6.5 overall, with no component lower than 5.5.
