📖 项目简介
The MSc User Experience Engineering equips you with the knowledge and practical skills to research, design, prototype and evaluate interactive technologies throughout the design and development lifecycle. Combining theory with hands-on practice, the programme develops expertise across UX research, interaction design, human factors and AI-enabled interactive technologies.
Throughout the programme, you'll apply a wide range of qualitative and quantitative methods to understand user needs, create effective design solutions and evaluate their impact. Practical teaching is supported by our dedicated UX laboratory, where you'll gain experience with specialist tools and techniques, including eye tracking, biosensing and immersive (VR/AR) technologies, used in contemporary UX research and practice.
The programme emphasises evidence-based design, interdisciplinary collaboration and professional practice, enabling you to develop the analytical, technical and practical skills required to tackle complex UX challenges across a wide range of products, systems and services.

Students typically complete 6 core modules, 2 electives, and an individual project. Students on the placement route complete the same academic requirements, plus an additional 120-credit placement module.
Students take one elective module in each teaching term. Elective choices for the first term are made during Induction Week for that term, with teaching commencing the following week. The elective modules currently available are listed in the Programme Specification.
Your course will be delivered through a combination of lectures, online activities, workshops and tutorials as well as undertaking an independent project.
You will be part of an international cohort from a variety of professional backgrounds, giving you exposure to global insights in both user experience expectations and professional practices.
