  • For 2027/28 entry, this course requires English language Band 4 which is equivalent to IELTS Academic 7.5 with 7.0 in each component. See our English language requirements page for the accepted tests and qualifications, required results and exemptions. Applications for both the PGD and LLM routes of the programme should be made via the SRA’s central application system . In considering your application, we will take the following into account: academic profile and achievement, strength of personal reasons for wishing to take the course and evidence of your motivation to become a solicitor (work experience, pro bono activity etc). In addition to a written application, applicants whose application is considered borderline may be offered the opportunity to take part in an additional selection exercise (such as an interview).
