📖 项目简介

This is a three-year full-time credit-based programme leading to the award of a Master of Nursing Science degree from The Chinese University of Hong Kong. This master’s entry programme is designed to prepare those with a bachelor’s degree in any discipline for a career in nursing. The programme aims to provide students with the opportunity to study the art and science of nursing from different perspectives and to develop their skills in clinical decision making, critical thinking and problem solving. Successful completion of the programme will enable the graduate to register as a Registered Nurse (General) with the Nursing Council of Hong Kong (NCHK). The sophisticatedly-designed curriculum with strong theoretical and practical components prepares students to plan and provide high-quality care to meet the dynamic needs of individuals, families, local and global communities Ample clinical field learning opportunities in diverse settings to develop competencies in team-based and coordinated care including acute, ambulatory, long-term and palliative, primary and community care Students’ diversity in educational backgrounds stimulates dynamic class discussions and facilitates the incorporation of their prior knowledge to benefit nursing practice All students in the past 10 years joined the nursing profession upon their graduation to serve people in Hong Kong and beyond

In addition to the general requirements of the Graduate School, applicants should

  • have a Bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognised university, normally with honours not lower than Second Class (or equivalent); and
  • be fluent in written English and Chinese, and in oral English and Cantonese; and
  • fulfil the entry requirements stipulated by the Nursing Council of Hong Kong (NCHK).
