Master of Science in Artificial Intelligence for Science (MSc. AIS) is a two-year full-time programme offered by the School of Science and Engineering of the CUHK-Shenzhen revolving around the interdisciplinary integration of artificial intelligence and cutting-edge natural sciences and engineering. The programme aims to cultivate interdisciplinary and innovative talents equipped with both AI skills and relevant scientific literacy. The curriculum covers multiple disciplines such as artificial intelligence, mathematics, physics, chemistry, materials, new energy and engineering, and robotics, emphasizing interdisciplinary synergy and being driven by frontier research. Students will systematically study core AI methodologies, including machine learning, deep learning, generative models, and scientific computing, and gain hands-on experience and a deep understanding of their applications in cutting-edge scientific challenges through interdisciplinary learning and practical research projects.
