Description : The role of an Advanced Supplier Quality (ASQ) Engineer is to ensure the execution of the Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) process and its completion in due time and follow up the performance of the supplier. The main missions of the role are to: Deploy APQP related to the development phase (or in current production) of Bought-Out Parts following the Group's purchasing requirements Follow the APQP progress with the status report and take decision in collaboration with the program team Planning and Managing Product and Process audits ((trial run at rate & process audit & VDA 6.3 audit)) and workshops at suppliers plant. Monitor the Production Part Approval condition with the PDL and PQL Give recommendations and/or technical decisions to ensure a defect-free process through program management Estimation and planning of the necessary quality activities as supplier support in agreement with the project team Train the suppliers and make sure that the defined standards are properly applied Manage action plans with suppliers in case of deviations Assess suppliers in collaboration with the commodity buyer in order to complete the global and plant panel evaluation Implement and tracking continuous improvement at supplier for better quality performance Creating Plant supplier Quality PPM report/PPM-targets/PPM-part targets under respect of the development/customer requirements Support in creating boundary samples in acclamation with internal customer, supplier and technical departments before SOP Support of Series Quality for working on supplier issues. Clarifying technical correlations and help for making decisions. If necessary with internal and external departments Manage 8D quality process to deal with quality issue related to suppliers Announce possible quality risk to supervisor and follow the escalation process Be an expert regarding a special material group e.g. (metal parts, plastic parts, stamping parts). Transfer specific Know How of the material group into the product projects Qualifications : The ideal candidate will have/be: Bachelor degree or above in engineering with a specialisation in Quality Minimum 3 years’ experience in a production and/or as an ASQ / SQA /SQE in automotive industry of MNC is preferred Good working knowledge of quality management systems (ISO9000, ISO/TS16949, VDA6,…) and production & process engineering. Familiar with Quality Management tools such as APQP,FMEA,MSA,SPC,Control plan and 8D tools Strong project management and analysis skills and Results oriented Good command of English capacity especially reading and writing
